Dachau, Auschwitz, Birkenau

Dachau, Auschwitz, Birkenau.

Three names engraved in History, synonymous with absolute dehumanization, the unimaginable become reality.

Deportations. Tortures. Assassinations.
Until the industrialization of extermination.

Thanks to the testimonies of survivors, the unthinkable can be known, transmitted, so that future generations will never be confronted with the unspeakable. But can we really understand such a tragedy? Nothing is less certain. Perhaps the essential thing is simply to know, to never ignore what happened there.

It is therefore with paintings of extreme modesty and symbolic power that we invite you to begin this exhibition, with, beforehand, a presentation of these three camps where, in the past, hell fell upon the earth.
